Mesquite Veterans Center Celebrates Over a Decade of Outstanding Service

Mesquite, NV – The Mesquite Veterans Center proudly celebrated over a decade of outstanding service to the community during a special ceremony hosted on Friday, 18 April 2025. The Armed Forces Chamber presented a commemorative plaque to the Mesquite Veterans Center in honor of its remarkable contributions. The plaque was graciously accepted by Bill Ennis, the newly appointed President of the Mesquite Veterans Center and a sitting Councilman for the City of Mesquite, Nevada.

The intimate ceremony was attended by more than a dozen guests, including notable figures such as Jesse Whipple-Mayor of the City of Mesquite, Andre' Haynes-Founder and CEO of the Armed Forces Chamber, and other distinguished community members and supporters. The event also served as a warm welcome for Bill Ennis as he officially assumed his new leadership role.

During his remarks, Ennis reflected on the many accomplishments of the Mesquite Veterans Center over the past decade, emphasizing its role as a vital resource for veterans and their families. He also shared his vision for the Center’s future, highlighting plans to expand services, strengthen partnerships, and enhance outreach efforts. Additionally, Ennis announced a series of upcoming events scheduled for May, aimed at honoring veterans and increasing community engagement.

The Armed Forces Chamber, dedicated to supporting veteran initiatives across Nevada, expressed its pride in recognizing the Mesquite Veterans Center for its unwavering commitment and service. The celebration underscored the importance of organizations like the Mesquite Veterans Center in fostering a strong, supportive community for veterans.
