Las Vegas, Nevada — The Armed Forces Chamber proudly announces its independent endorsement initiative for non-judicial candidates in the 2026 Nevada Primary and General Elections. All activities across Nevada counties—including Clark County, Churchill, Douglas, Elko, Esmeralda, Eureka, Humboldt, Lander, Lincoln, Lyon, Mineral, Nye, Pershing, Storey, Washoe, White Pine, and Carson City—will be conducted exclusively through the Armed Forces Chamber Political Affairs Council, LLC. Unlike its joint endorsement efforts for judicial candidates in Clark County, Nevada, the Chamber’s non-judicial candidate endorsements will be conducted solely through the Armed Forces Chamber Political Affairs Council, LLC. Frank Carbone Named Honorary Board Member of the Armed Forces Chamber

Las Vegas, NV — The Armed Forces Chamber has appointed Frank Carbone as a Volunteer Honorary Board Member. Mr. Carbone is a United States Air Force veteran and retired aerospace leader with 30 years at Northrop (Northrop Grumman), where he served in engineering and senior program management roles, including leadership support of the B-2 Stealth Bomber program. His team earned the David Packard Excellence in Acquisition Award. He also served as a Commissioner and Chair of the Nye County Commission in Nevada, contributing to governance and regional development initiatives. “Frank’s lifetime of service and leadership strengthens our mission to serve those who serve,” said Andre’ Haynes, Founder and CEO of the Armed Forces Chamber. Mr. Carbone will assist with strategic initiatives supporting veterans, economic development, and community growth.

Armed Forces Chamber Supports Passport Office Opening

The Armed Forces Chamber proudly joined the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District (LVCCLD) in celebrating the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the new Passport Services Offices inside the Rainbow Library (3150 N Buffalo Dr. Las Vegas, NV 89128). This is the Library District’s second location offering this high-demand service, following the successful pilot program at Windmill Library where nearly 8,000 applications have been processed since opening in 2017. The new office provides residents with a convenient, local option for this necessary government process. As an official Passport Acceptance Facility, the new office verifies identity and reviews passport application documents to be processed by the U.S. Department of State, and processes documents for first-time applicants. Armed Forces Chamber Supports Veterans Memorial Fundraiser Kickoff

On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, community leader and philanthropist Andre’ Haynes proudly attended the Veterans Memorial Fundraiser Kickoff at the Thunderbird Family Sports Complex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event marked the launch of a $10 million initiative dedicated to preserving and relocating 18 cherished bronze statues that honor military service members from various wars in American history. The statues will be moved from the Grant Sawyer State Building to a new memorial park in northwest Las Vegas, creating a lasting space for remembrance and reflection. The project is a collaborative effort between the City of Las Vegas and the State of Nevada. Funding is being coordinated through the Mayor’s Fund for Las Vegas LIFE, a nonprofit founded in 2017 by former Mayor Carolyn Goodman to support city programs and projects through private-sector contributions.
