Cheers filled the Suncoast Casino Bowling Lanes this past Saturday as the Armed Forces Chamber proudly sponsored the "Strike Up Hope" Bowl-a-Thon, a collaborative effort supporting foster youth and Purple Heart veterans. Hosted by the Asian Pacific Community Awareness Initiative (APCAI), the event benefited the Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 711 in greater Las Vegas and the Foster Care Chamber, bringing together teams from across the Las Vegas Valley.

Andre' Haynes, Founder and CEO of the Armed Forces Chamber, joined themed teams and executives from partner organizations for a heartwarming segment on 8 News Now just before the event. The occasion featured Star Trek officers, Ghostbusters, knights, and comic heroes, highlighting the community's unity and commitment to critical causes.

"We're not just sponsors; we're advocates standing with those who deserve support," stated Andre' Haynes. "Whether it's foster youth in search of stable homes or veterans who have served our country, our presence signifies solidarity and care."

The Bowl-a-Thon served as a platform for fostering connections and raising awareness. Attendees enjoyed the festivities, cheering on bowlers and mingling with characters while engaging with nonprofit leaders dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the community.

More than a fun-filled day, the event symbolized unity across diverse backgrounds and ages, underscoring the power of collaboration. With the support of sponsors like the Armed Forces Chamber and collaborative efforts from APCA, the Foster Care Chamber, and other partners, hope turned into a tangible movement.
