Armed Forces Chamber Celebrates Women in Law Enforcement
Las Vegas, NV — The Armed Forces Chamber proudly joined forces with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Foundation at the Eighth Annual Wonder Women of Metro Luncheon, held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa. This powerful and inspiring event recognized the achievements and leadership of women in law enforcement and the broader Las Vegas community.
The luncheon, hosted by the LVMPD Foundation, celebrates and honors the trailblazing women who serve in the LVMPD and those who positively impact public safety in Southern Nevada. This year’s keynote speaker was Sandra Douglass Morgan, President of the Las Vegas Raiders and a respected leader known for her commitment to civic engagement, business innovation, and community empowerment.
Andre’ Haynes, Founder and CEO of the Armed Forces Chamber, attended the luncheon to show his support for women in law enforcement and community leadership. During the event, Haynes connected with fellow civic leaders and supporters, including Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley, Henderson Councilwoman Dr. Monica Larson, and many others who gathered to recognize and uplift the women making a difference in Southern Nevada.
"It was a true honor to stand alongside these remarkable women who protect and uplift our community every day. The Armed Forces Chamber proudly supports the LVMPD Foundation and the Wonder Women of Metro — their courage and leadership inspire us all,"
— Andre' Haynes, Founder & CEO, Armed Forces Chamber
In addition to celebrating these influential women, the luncheon serves as a fundraising and public awareness initiative for the LVMPD Foundation. Funds raised support important programs and partnerships that enhance public safety, strengthen relationships between the LVMPD and the community, and promote diversity and inclusion throughout the department.
Past keynote speakers have included a prestigious lineup of trailblazers such as Diana Bennett, Chairman of the Board and co-founder of Paragon Gaming; Kris Engelstad McGarry, philanthropist; Robin Greenspun, filmmaker; Nikki Fargas, Aces President; Missy Young, former Chief Information Officer at SWITCH; Punam Mathur, Executive Director of the Elaine P. Wynn and Family Foundation; and Tina Quigley, a top executive leader in transportation and development.
The 2025 luncheon continued the tradition of honoring these “Wonder Women of Metro,” spotlighting the incredible contributions women make in law enforcement and beyond. By celebrating these individuals, the LVMPD Foundation encourages a deeper understanding of the diverse perspectives that enrich our public safety efforts and community well-being.
