PATSY’S COMMUNITY CLOSET LAUNCHES TO PROVIDE CLOTHING AND HOPE TO THOSE IN NEED

 Couponing for Students, Inc., a 501(c)(3) public charity, proudly announces the launch of PATSY’S COMMUNITY CLOSET, a heartfelt initiative dedicated to providing new and gently used clothing to individuals in need. Created in honor of Patsy Brown—a respected business owner, lawyer, and philanthropist—this new program aims to serve foster youth, seniors, veterans, and others facing hardship.

PATSY’S COMMUNITY CLOSET features a diverse collection of clothing items including accessories, dresses, handbags, jewelry, loungewear, pants, shoes, shirts, skirts, suits, and other essentials. Many of the new items are sourced from popular department store chains, ensuring high-quality selections that combine comfort, style, and dignity.

The program hosts exclusive inspirational events, where specially invited groups can indulge in a boutique-style shopping experience completely free of charge. Each event is designed to uplift participants by providing choice and compassion in a welcoming atmosphere.

Special guests include Nye County Sheriff Joe McGillNye County District Attorney Brian KunziNye County Commissioner Bruce Jabbour (District 1), Former Nye County Commissioner Frank Carbone, Las Vegas Municipal District Court Judge Matthew Walker (Department 1), and Commissioner Kathleen Taylor (Nevada Commission For Women).

“Our goal is simple—to make people feel seen, valued, and confident,” said Patsy Brown, Founder and Executive Director of Couponing for Students, Inc. “Clothing may seem basic, but it can make a powerful difference in someone’s self-esteem, outlook, and opportunities. PATSY’S COMMUNITY CLOSET is about more than clothes—it’s about care and inspiration.”

The 2025 event schedule includes September 13th, October 11th, and November 8th, from 2–3 p.m. PST at Dad’s American Diner in Pahrump, NevadaBeneficiaries will be referred by dignitaries, government organizations, and non-government organizations.
