PATSY’S COMMUNITY CLOSET LAUNCHES TO PROVIDE CLOTHING AND HOPE TO THOSE IN NEED
PATSY’S COMMUNITY CLOSET features a diverse collection of clothing items including accessories, dresses, handbags, jewelry, loungewear, pants, shoes, shirts, skirts, suits, and other essentials. Many of the new items are sourced from popular department store chains, ensuring high-quality selections that combine comfort, style, and dignity.
The program hosts exclusive inspirational events, where specially invited groups can indulge in a boutique-style shopping experience completely free of charge. Each event is designed to uplift participants by providing choice and compassion in a welcoming atmosphere.
Special guests include Nye County Sheriff Joe McGill, Nye County District Attorney Brian Kunzi, Nye County Commissioner Bruce Jabbour (District 1), Former Nye County Commissioner Frank Carbone, Las Vegas Municipal District Court Judge Matthew Walker (Department 1), and Commissioner Kathleen Taylor (Nevada Commission For Women).
“Our goal is simple—to make people feel seen, valued, and confident,” said Patsy Brown, Founder and Executive Director of Couponing for Students, Inc. “Clothing may seem basic, but it can make a powerful difference in someone’s self-esteem, outlook, and opportunities. PATSY’S COMMUNITY CLOSET is about more than clothes—it’s about care and inspiration.”
The 2025 event schedule includes September 13th, October 11th, and November 8th, from 2–3 p.m. PST at Dad’s American Diner in Pahrump, Nevada. Beneficiaries will be referred by dignitaries, government organizations, and non-government organizations.
Charter partners include the Armed Forces Chamber, Ephraims David Las Vegas, USA, Nye County Sheriff’s Auxiliary Unit (SAU), Phi Nu Alpha Military Spouses Sorority, Inc., Sarah Sivrais, Strength and Flight, and Stuffed Bellies Hunger Relief Charity.
Additional sponsorship, volunteer, and partnership opportunities are available.
