Armed Forces Chamber Supports Veterans Treatment Court Graduation
Las Vegas, NV – The Armed Forces Chamber proudly supported the Las Vegas Township Justice Court, Department Three, Veterans Treatment Court (VTC) graduation ceremony held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Presiding over the event was Judge Harmony Letizia, who commended graduates for their perseverance and commitment to a brighter future.
The ceremony celebrated 15 United States military veterans who successfully completed the intensive program designed to restore stability, accountability, and dignity in their civilian lives. Representing the Armed Forces Chamber was JP Edwards, Executive Officer (XO) and Chair of the Veterans Treatment Court Committee. Edwards personally presented graduation certificates to each of the 15 honorees on behalf of the Chamber. His participation underscored the Chamber’s commitment to uplifting veterans and strengthening community partnerships.
The Armed Forces Chamber partners with various community organizations to enhance, strengthen, and support its programs for Armed Forces members and their families. These collaborations enable expanded resources and services, ensuring a greater impact in addressing the needs of veterans and their loved ones across community and economic development, diversity and inclusion, education, environmental sustainability, health and human services, hunger relief and healthy eating, public safety, plus veteran and military support.
The Veterans Treatment Court employs a collaborative approach to support veterans dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or traumatic brain injuries (TBI) who face misdemeanor charges. Its mission is to promote public safety and provide targeted services to veterans, offering a structured, court-supervised program that integrates substance abuse and mental health treatment while addressing the veteran’s holistic needs. This model aims to restore veterans as productive, law-abiding members of the community, ultimately reducing recidivism and associated costs.
To enhance these vital programs, the Armed Forces Chamber provides in-kind donations, including certificates of appreciation and gifts for graduates, and arranges special guest speakers and live performances for graduation ceremonies. Additionally, the organization supplies certified mentors who guide participants throughout the program.
“The Armed Forces Chamber is honored to stand with our heroes as they begin new chapters of opportunity and service,” said Edwards. “This graduation reflects not only the graduates’ resilience but also the community’s dedication to ensuring that no veteran is left behind.”
The Armed Forces Chamber, established in 2017, is a dynamic organization committed to empowering veteran-owned businesses, fostering community development, and advocating for armed forces members.
