Veterans Resource Fair Unites Community in Las Vegas

Las Vegas, NV — The Armed Forces Chamber, in partnership with the Las Vegas Municipal Court and Judge Matt Walker of Department 1, proudly hosted a Veterans Resource Fair yesterday at the Las Vegas Municipal Court, bringing together more than a dozen community organizations committed to serving local veterans. The event created a one-stop hub for support, connection, and vital resources that uplift Nevada’s military community.

The fair featured an impressive lineup of government agencies, nonprofits, and service providers, including the Armed Forces Chamber, Asian Community Resource Center, Foster Care Chamber, Holdeman Realty Group, Las Vegas–Clark County Library District, Las Vegas Hospice Alliance for Veterans, Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, Navy Federal Credit Union, Nevada Department of Veterans Services, Office of Congresswoman Susie Lee, Patsy’s Community Closet, REQ Therapy BBQ, Strength and Flight, TruVet, the U.S. Small Business Administration, and more.

Veterans attending the event received assistance in essential areas such as communication, education, financial literacy, food support, housing navigation, Social Security, suicide prevention, transportation, utility relief, VA benefits, and general well-being. The resource fair also highlighted programs that promote community reintegration, empowerment, and long-term stability for service members and their families.

Adding to the welcoming atmosphere, Nick Bonsanto, host of Old School Hits Vegas, greeted veterans throughout the day and provided a soundtrack of classic hits that energized the event and set a positive, uplifting tone.

“The success of this resource fair reflects the strength of our community’s commitment to those who have served,” said André Haynes, Founder and CEO of the Armed Forces Chamber. “We are grateful to Las Vegas Municipal Court Judge Matt Walker from Department 1, our partners, and every organization that showed up to support our veterans. The Armed Forces Chamber looks forward to hosting many more Veterans Resource Fairs to ensure our heroes receive the resources, dignity, and opportunities they deserve.”
